Independence’s annual celebration of the Santa Fe, California, and Oregon Trails features arts and crafts, country music, and lots of family activities. It’s Greater Kansas City’s largest Labor Day event, drawing over 200,000 people every year. Friday-Monday on the historic Independence Square.
