September is art fair month in Kansas City.
- Art Westport – Head over to Westport Rd. and Pennsylvannia Ave. on September 5-7.
- The nationally-acclaimed Plaza Art Fair takes over the Country Club Plaza on September 19-21st.
- The alternative UnPlaza Art Fair takes place nearby at All-Souls Unitarian Church.
- Renaissance Festival, Weekends through October 13th – www.kcrenfest.com
- Oktoberfest, Sept. 26-28 – Downtown at the Riverfront Park.
- Red Friday, Sept. 5 – Chiefs season kickoff event at Arrowhead Stadium
- Fiesta Hispana, Sept. 13-14 – Annual celebration of the city’s hispanic community. Downtown at Barney Allis Plaza.
