@BlogKCUS News has released their latest academic rankings of national universites. In general, most state schools dropped this year, thanks to the budget crisis in most states. Scores of local interest:
1. Harvard and Princeton (tie)
9. Washington University (St. Louis)
32. U. of Missouri
41. Iowa State
44. U. of Kansas
Other area schools placing in regional rankings include Rockhurst University, Truman State University, and College of the Ozarks.
