61 Sports debuts

Sports just got a lot more interesting in Kansas City the recent debut of 61 Sports, KCSP-AM 610, the former home of venerable WDAF 61 Country which has now moved to 106.5 FM. Entercom’s new station will go head-to-head with locally owned sports radio pioneer Sports Radio 810 WHB-AM, already landing WHB’s Jason Whitlock and local rights to the Jim Rome show. Meanwhile, WHB was able to lure away Entercom’s Soren Petro.
