Parks officals in Johnson County, KS are set to unveil proposals for improvements to the county’s largest parks. While these are welcome improvements, the county lags behind both Jackson County and the national average in the amount of parkland per capita and needs to continue buying more parkland to stay ahead of suburban sprawl.
