KC Design CenterToward the Horizon is an exhibit of Alex MacClean’s aerial photography of the Kansas City region. It’s currently running through January 19th, 2004 at Commerce Bank’s headquarters, 922 Walnut St. Listen to MacClean talk about the project on KCUR radio’s Up To Date program (interview archive in Windows Media format).

    These are beautiful photographs. I went to see the exhibit Friday night on the open gallery night, and the guy there with the exhibit said they’ll do a book of the photographs eventually. (MacLean had a book come out this year, so they couldn’t interest a publisher in doing one of just the KC photos in the same year.)
