@BlogKCKansas City-based AMC Theaters is in merger talks with Loews Cineplex. No word on whether this would be a merger or take over, or which company and headquarters city would prevail. AMC is currently the number two theater operator in the country, and the addition of Loews would be move them into the number one spot.
