1) 5-year sales tax to prop up bus service passes on the strength of Jackson County voters. It lost in Clay and Platte Counties, even though most bus cutbacks would have happened in the Northland.
2) Clay Chastain’s latest transportation initiative fails big time
3) Voters rejected City Hall’s proposal to toughen the rules for initiative petitions.
4) Victor Callahan will complete the late Ronnie DePasco’s term in the state Senate.
