@BlogKCToday marks the 20th anniversary of The Day After. The ABC movie of the week depicted the aftermath of a nuclear attack on Kansas City and Lawrence, KS. Much of the movie was filmed in the KC area, including an eery shot of the Liberty Memorial and Downtown skyline in ruins.
