511 Travel Info

Last month Kansas launched their 511 travel information hotline, which provides any landline or wireless phone with real-time road and weather conditions. Eventually the service should be available nation-wide. Missouri is currently planning their system for introduction later this year. Due to overlap in cellular tower coverage, travelers in Missouri can already sample neighboring 511 hotlines near the state line.
