Channel 5 begins MetroSports partnership

This month KCTV Channel 5 begin it’s arrangement to outsource sports programming to MetroSports, Time Warner Cable’s local all-sports channel. Channel 5 fired their entire sports department and turned the entire operation over to MetroSports, including nightly sportscasts, Chiefs games, and other programming. Leaf Lisec was the only Channel 5 reporter retained by MetroSports and serves as anchor for the new venture.
