Cleaver and Cofran for Congress

Former Kansas City councilman Dan Cofran will seek the Democractic nomination for Missouri’s 5th district U.S. House seat, which is being vacated by Karen McCarthy. Former Kansas City mayor Reverend Emmanuel Cleaver is expected to announce his candidacy on Sunday. Both men join a growing field of contenders.
