Local WB affiliate KSMO-TV Channel 62 will be adding nightly newscast in 2004. The hour-long program will be a hybrid of stories from a local news team and the station’s parent company. Channel 62 will become the fifth local newscast in Kansas City.

Looks like Missouri may open its 2005 football season at Arrowhead Stadium. Another game in 2006 is also possible. This would be first time the Tigers have played football in KC since 1945.

Kansas City, Missouri’s City Council has quietly joined 250 other cities around the country that have gone on record expressing concern over privacy and civil rights violations in the Patriot Act. The vote was nearly unanimous, only Bonnie Sue Cooper disagreed.
