Another downtown ballpark supporter

UMB Bank leader R. Crosby Kemper III joins the voices calling for a downtown baseball stadium. Meanwhile, the KC Chamber of Commerce and Jackson County continue pushing for a November election on a bistate tax proposal to renovate the Truman Sports Complex and raise money for arts and cultural programs. While Kauffman Stadium is widely recognized as one of of the most enjoyable baseball stadiums, there is an emerging consensus that it’s only big fault is the location. That creates the dilema of renovating the beloved K or building a new stadium downtown.
