I VotedApril 6 voters will see several big bond proposals. Kansas City, MO is proposing three bonds for infrastructure improvements, zoo improvements, and a WWI museum at the Liberty Memorial. Several school districts are asking for levy increases to offset budgetary crises, as well as bonds for various construction and renovation projects.

  • Johnson County - $184 million Shawnee-Mission school improvements
  • Liberty - $9 million for sewer improvements
  • Grandview School District - operating levy increase and school improvements
  • Lee’s Summit School District - operating levy increase, new elementary school, other improvments
  • Platte County School District - $24 million for improvements
  • Smithville School District - $7 million in improvements
