A year after promising to release her plan for a new Downtown arena, KCUR-FM 89.3 is reporting that Mayor Kay Barnes has repeated the same promise to go public with the details in mid-May. This time she might actually follow through, because a new arena is crucial for the city’s bid to retain the Big 12 basketball tournaments.
