April 2 – First Fridays – Gallery open houses in Downtown’s Crossroads Arts District, 6-0pm.

April 4 – Fountain Day – 6:00pm on the north lawn of the Liberty Memorial. This is the day that most of the city’s fountains are turned on for the season.

April 5 – Kansas City Day – Celebration centering around the Royals home opener. Special edition of The Star benefits the Rotary Youth Camp.

April 12 – Opening of the new Central Library at 10th and Baltimore in Downtown KCMO.

April 25 – Trolley Run – Four mile run/walk in Brookside and Waldo. Fundraiser for the Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired. One of the most popular races in KC.
