Highlights from today’s elections:
- KCMO: Infrastructure, zoo, and Liberty Memorial museum bonds all pass, with infrastructure bonds getting 71%.
- Long-time Blue Springs Mayor Greg Grounds narrowly upset by City Council member Steve Steiner, who recieved major support from real estate developers seeking more liberal development and construction policies.
- School bonds and levies pass in Lee’s Summit, Grain Valley, Liberty, Belton, Smithville, and Shawnee-Mission.
