This week’s Pitch features a cover story of Virtumundo, a local email marketing company often labeled as a spammer. While the company doesn’t show up on my blacklists of know spammers, it does have a reputation for semi-slimy practicies. And the story even scores some dot com bonus points with rumors of a panic room and underground koi pond in the CEO’s Ward Parkway mansion.

That guy is such a slimbag. I finished the story wanting to have a wash.
What I loved about it, though, was that they published a photo of his house. They didn’t really need to — everyone who drives down Ward Parkway knows which McMansion has been under construction for years — but still, they did. For that handful of potential thieves/vandals who were unaware the house is empty. Snicker.
