Troubled computer maker Gateway is laying off more people at it’s relatively new West Bottoms call center near Downtown KC. Although in recent weeks the company has been recruiting for new employees on local radio ads.

A new poll from Jason Klumb’s State Treasurer campaign includes a new number for the Democratic governor’s primary: Claire McCaskill edges Gov. Bob Holden 47-43%, just within the 4% margin of error. In January a KMBC-TV poll was 28% McCaskill, 26% Holden, with the rest undecided.
