Residents near Stoll Park in Johnson County are fighting a proposed land swap that would transfer the park to the Joco Community College. Surprisingly, posh Johnson County actually has less parkland per capita than either Jackson County, MO or the national average. Every square inch of open space is important in a county that has failed to keep up with the pace suburban sprawl.
