@BlogKCSaturday’s Star feature three pieces on Jamie Metzl and his race with Cleaver. Metzl is definitely an aggressive, ambitious up and comer. Cleaver’s camp seems to have been caught off guard by what is arguably his most formidable campaign foe in years, if ever.

Sorry, Metzl seems like a whiny putz. He smiles pretty but running on empty promises can only get you so far.
However, the “nerdy Mr. Smith vibe” is exactly the kind of persona that people around here like so he may very well win.
I guess it’s a race between effective corruption and haughty ideals. I’d rather vote for somebody knows how to return a favor.
