Press awards

The KC Press Club recently announced their 2004 awards… The broadcast side was dominated by WDAF-TV 4, although KCTV 5 cleaned up in investigative reporting. BlogKC favorite Up To Date on KCUR-AM 89.3 took top honors in the radio category. Appareantly the KC Press Club also includes Topeka and Wichita, as newspapers in those two cities dominated the KC papers in many of the print categories.

    Ya know – something like the KC Press Club would be a good idea for local bloggers. How ’bout the Kansas City Society of Independent Publishers. I would be up for working on and hosting a site for it. Any thoughts?
