New McCaskill/Holden polls

Two new polls in the Missouri Governor’s race indicate a virtual dead heat in the Democratic primary, but give Claire McCaskill a slight edge over likely Republican nominee Matt Blunt.

McCaskill 47% vs Holden’s 43% (an 8% increase since July 1st)
(margin of error: 4.4%)

KMBC-TV 9 and The Star
Holden 43 vs McCaskill 41%

McCaskill 47% vs Blunt 43%
Blunt 44% vs Holden 42%
(m.o.e. 4%)
