D.I.Y. sex offender database

A Clay County man has created his own version of the Missouri sex offender registery, and it’s an improvement over the official version provided by the Missouri Highway Patrol. The do-it-yourself database is searchable by city, county, or zip code. Both are often unavailable due to heavy demand. Meanwhile, Kansas’ database adds the option to search by name.
