Last week the Chamber of Commerce and others kicked off the Bistate II campaign. In November, voters in the five core counties will be asked for a 1/4-cent sales tax to renovate the Truman Sports Complex and fund arts and cultural projects. The arts projects include both the proposed Performing Arts Center and smaller community groups around the region.

I’m against this bistate tax, what will KCK benefit from this. We
need help ourselves. Vote NO! on question one.
