Those workers that have been hired as "phase 1" testers are all trained software engineers. The minute that they show enough competence in software engineering will be the moment that Cerner's engineering is shipped off to the subcontinent, leaving Cerner execs here to spend their time collecting more profits and living it up in KC's strip clubs. Consider this: Cerner has plans to increase its workforce by another 5000 in the next 5 years. However, the only plan on the table for any new facilities in North KC campus is a hotel.
