Harrisonville is considering new, relaxed property maintenance codes that would allow broken-down cars in the driveway and couches on the front porch. This would be an interesting move since most towns on the fringe of the metro usually tighten these ordinances when try to transition from rural to suburban. Go figure. Maybe Mama’s Family will consider relocating from Raytown.

The Kansas City Star article says that the broken down cars would have to be covered with a tarp.
