Huge Lenexa meth lab

Police in posh Lenexa have busted what Channel 9 is calling the biggest meth lab ever found in the metro area. KCTV 5 has the story and video. Sounds like haughty Jocos might have to put away the Independence red neck jokes for a while.

Do Over

The promised do-over for the fizzled 4th of July fireworks on the riverfront will take place Friday night during the Oktoberfest on the Wasserfront at Berkley Riverfront Park. Admission is $5 or three cans of food, but the fireworks will be visible outside of the park.
