@BlogKCToday Jim Corwin will be sworn in as the new KCPD chief. Amazingly, his selection was free of most of the racial squabbling that marred the selection of Rick Easley. Corwin looks like a good choice for many constituencies – he’s a Northlander with several years of experience leading the mostly black East Patrol district.
