MU arena namesake in cheating scandal

MizzouMore scandal for the MU basketball program. Paige Laurie, the millionaire heiress who is the namesoke for Mizzou’s new basketball palace, is the subject of a recent 20/20 expose on academic dishonesty. She’s accused of paying her roommate $20,000 to wright dozens of papers for her at USC.

Clementa Floyd’s remark that “them crackers be shakin” seems to be coming true again. Perhaps Cracker Barrel would have been a better arena name after all.

    Being involved with those Wal-Mart families has been nothing but trouble for Mizzou. They should just give back the Laurie’s tainted money and rename the arena for Norm Stewart.

    Just the latest in an unseemly trail of slime that Mike Alden is oozing.

    Quin Snyder is hired and we have the Ricky Clemons/Clementa Floyd affair.

    Bill Laurie wants a new arena, even if it ISN’T needed, so he waves $25 million under Alden’s nose. The state of Missouri is now committed to guaranteeing $35 million in bonds!

    Alden hires Gary Pinkel – the poster boy for under-achieving football coaches.

    Where will it end?
