Citizens Association considers McFadden-Weaver recall

The Citizens Association is considering it stance on the effort to recall 3rd District Councilwoman Saundra McFadden-Weaver. Last night the group heard from Weaver and the organizers of the recall effort. The Citizens Association is a political club advocating for clean government, and it was instrumental in removing the Pendergast political machine back in the 1940s. The group endorsed Weaver in the 2003 City Council electons.
