Missourians slow to get concealed carry permits

The concealed carry law that was forced onto Missourians by the General Assembly last year has been met with lukewarm response from would-be gun carriers. The number of permits issued so far is way below what was anticipated. One reason – we already allowed concealed carry within vehicles, which is what most gun owners wanted anyway.
