Time Warner mobile phones

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Time Warner Cable is negotiating with Sprint to use it’s network for a private-lable cell phone service. It would probably work similar to Virgin Mobile, which also uses Sprint’s network. The service is supposed to debut with a trial in Kansas City in 2005.

UGH! What could be worse than combining TWC’s dubious reliability with Sprint’s spotty coverage?

TWC’s dubious reliability? How do you figure? I rarely have problems with either cable or modem service from TWC. It’s much better than SBC’s DSL service. While I’m in TWC’s area, most of Lee’s Summit is in Comcast territory -which is absolutely terrible.
