Poll reports strong support for stem cell research

A new opinion poll from a Republican pollster shows strong support for keeping stem cell research legal in Missouri. The survey for the Missouri Coalition for Lifesaving Cures found 66% of Missourians support the research, with only 30% opposed. Support was strong in KC, St. Louis, and among Democrats and Independents. Even Republicans and southern Missourians were in favor by a small margin.
