Conservative journalist and all-around gadly Rich Nadler has abruptly left KCPT’s Ruckus and been replaced by Missouri Republican activist and political consultant Woody Cozad. While he generally remains behinds the scenes, Cozad is a very powerful figure in local and state politics. In his debut last night, Cozad was much more restrained and personable than Nadler, but not nearly as colorful.

The show can Nadler “resigned,” it makes one wonder what is behind the story.
The thing I don’t get about Cozad is he not just an activist and consultant, but a registered lobbyist. His clients include Jackson County and the Sports Complex. How can he talk about those issues on a public affairs show when he is on the payroll?
