Green giant alert: Let’s see, killer views, indoor and outdoor swimming pools — what more could a prospective upscale downtown condo buyer ask for than what The View at 600 Admiral has to offer? Would you believe: former Chiefs star Buck Buchanan?. “Buck Buchanan’s doing the landscaping on it,” says co-developer Wayne Reeder. “He’s so talented. It’s gorgeous what he’s doing!”

The Kansas City Star
Wrong identification The landscaper for a downtown condominium project was incorrectly identified in Hearne Christopher’s March 20 column. Landscaping at The View, 600 Admiral Blvd., is headed up by Buck Buchan, owner of Buck Buchan Landscape Design in Kansas City. Former Kansas City Chiefs star Buck Buchanan, who was incorrectly identified as the landscaper, died in 1992. The Star apologizes for the error.

The error has already been purged from their web site, but still lives in Google’s cache. Quite an error to get by the “journalist” and his editors. Has anyone else noticed that Hearne’s column has pretty much sucked since Monica Parise left town? The poor dude must still be heartbroken. (Hat tip to KC Media Blog and MetroSports)

    i met buck buchan the other day. real nice guy. certainly not an ex-chief, though, and very much alive. best of luck to hearne christopher in his search for love and facts.
