Neo Nazis moving to KCK

The Star reports that The Aryan Nations, one of the most violent white supremacist groups, is moving its national headquarters to KCK. They will join a surprising number of hate groups in Missouri and Kansas, including groups called White Christian Soldiers in Lee’s Summit and Blood and Honour in Liberty. And of course Fred Phelps’ Westoboro Baptist Church in Topeka.

No word on how much of a bidding war the two states fought over the new HQ coming to the metro, but it’s safe to say this is one organization that won’t be getting generous TIFs or other tax subsidies.

Nevermind… The Star now says that community outcry has caused the leader who moved to KCK to step down and abandon plans to move the headquarters here.
