I wanted to add that there is also another new progressive political group on the Kansas side. We just formed. We are an official ancillary organization in the Democratic Party in Kansas. We are called the Kansas Progressive Caucus. To go to our general site, go to http://www.ksprogressives.org. To see our Preamble that describes our Mission, Values and our description of Critical Problems and Our Progressive Solutions, go to the link on the left site called What We Believe. I just got on this BlogKC today and don’t know how articles get posted. If someone wants to post an article in Politics on this blog, about our new Progressive Caucus, please do. Our By Laws call for a grassroots process for decision-making with all members voting. We are looking for more members as we grow. Anyone can join by following instructions on the website.
Any member of the Kansas Progressive Caucus must be Kansas residents, registered Democrats, and largely believe in (or be attracted to) our Preamble with its Mission, Values and Progressive Solutions.
I am interested in getting involved in a progressive organization. How can I do so? I reside in Indpendence KS and would like to do something to contribute to the progressive causes.
