First, Second, Third…
June 22, 2005 | 4 Comments
First Fridays has become one of the biggest events in town, with over 10,000 people filling Downtown’s art galleries and streets every month. Recently other parts of town have been inspired to create their own monthly marketing events, and signs of life in KC are emerging throughout the month.
First Fridays
- The Crossroads Arts District, where it all started.
Second Fridays
- Strollin’ the Boulevard – several shops on Gregory Blvd. in the Waldo neighborhood are open late.
- Ozanam Guild’s networking/fundraising events for young singles.
Third Thursdays
- 45 Street Wine Walk in the 45th and State Line Road antiques district.
Third Fridays
- Urban Culture Project exhibits in vacant spaces around Downtown.
- 39th Street Art Walk in the shops on W. 39th St.
- Art in Columbus Park, the Irish/Italian/Asian/etc. neighborhood east of the River Market.
