No love for KC on the highway commission

Governor Blunt is appointing a St. Joseph businessman to replace Rev. Wallace Hartsfield, the last Kansas City area member of the state’s Highways and Transportation Commission. We are probably lucky to get someone from St. Joe, as there is only one other commission representing the entire western half of the state. The others are from St. Louis (2), Springfield, Jeff City, and the Bootheel.

The Highways Commission isn’t the only big agency without representation from the state’s biggest city and second-biggest metro area. The Tourism Commission has zero KC representation, but 4 St. Louis commissioners.

Blunt is a moron. St. Louis is nothing but a city of douchebags.
