Considering most Latin Americans (legal and otherwise) live in the urban core, their opposition is well founded.  This has nothing to do with taxes; we will all see rate increases to fund the bond payback.

I&#039;ve gone through the spending proposals for both the sewer and the water sides of this deal and a large part is going toward new development. 

And to make matters worse, they are out there laying new pipe at the same time northland development is causing stormwater overflow issues for those living downstream.  The city&#039;s liability to existing homeowners is just beginning to be tested.  If memory serves me correctly, KC recently was forced to buy a home on the Fishing River watershed that was washed out due to runoff that was diectly attributable to inept planning on the part of the city.</description>
