Judge blocks the cock block

A Cole County judge has ruled Matt Bartle’s strip club restrictions unconstitutional. The ruling was made on two grounds… First, that the law was attached to an unrelated bill, which is against the state constitution. Second, that only federal law can pre-empt the state’s current 18 age of consent, as it does for alcohol. So for now, lap dances and full nudity are still OK. An appeal by the state is likely.
