McCaskill to announce for Senate tomorrow

One of the premier Senate races of 2006 is about to get started. After months of deliberation and media speculation, Democratic State Auditor Claire McCaskill appears set to announce that she will challenge incumbent Republican Senator Jim Talent. A media event is set for tomorrow at the family’s feed mill in the town of Houston, between Rolla and West Plains.
KC Star: McCaskill set to run for Senator Talent’s seat.
St. Louis Post-Dispatch: McCaskill will run for Senate.
Columbia Daily Tribune: McCaskill is ready to announce.
