Talent switching stem cell position?

Democratic blogger Roy Temple thinks that Senater Jim Talent is on the verge of bowing to the realities of public opinion and backing down from his opposition to stem cell research. Talent would be following staunch conservatives like Governor Blunt and Senate Majority leader Bill Frist who have already changed their positions to align with the majority of Americans who support keeping stem cell research legal. Temple argues that Talent’s decision isn’t based on any ideological change, but rather on pure political maneuvering.
