There have been occaisional reports over the last couple of years that Penthouse Club is looking to cash in on the Downtown boom. It looks like they have settled on converting Totally Nude Temptations (formerly Zeigfields), at 15th and Grand in the Crossroads. The juice bar is applying for a liquor license (there fore no more total nudity) and the city has issued several construction and renovation permits under the Penthouse name. The location is just two blocks from the Sprint Center and Power & Light District, and about 6 blocks from the convention center and hotels. The KC club would be Penthouse’s seventh.

I think this is just great. We need a good mix of business to keep our new downtown “real”. I sure do miss Gus’ Goldmine, though. Funnest joint in town, it was.
