The Star’s Kit Wagar chronicles a nasty political fight in Missouri’s blogosphere. Democrats Jean Carnahan and Roy Temple have been running Fired Up Missouri for several months now, keeping close tabs on the exploits of the Blunt administration. This post criticizing the administration for buying a new plane prompted this ballistic response from the Governor’s office (his official government office, not his campaign office).
While Fired Up has certainly showed now mercy towards Missouri Republicans, it hasn’t been overly hostile by blog standards. Perhaps Governor Blunt needs a thicker skin, because there are no panic buttons in the blogosphere.
