What a waste of time. Some guy from the anti-bistate2 group stood up and read a statement, some other guy from Johnson County stood up and told everyone why he voted against bistate2. Another guy started with good points then just thought he was really intelligent and kept talking about nothing to do with the discussion at hand. A real smart guy stood up and told the legislature that the price of gas will keep all those out of towners from coming here to see the Chiefs. Sorry, pal, you have no clue about the motivation or priorities of those season ticket holders. I expected to see some good discussion, instead all I heard was NO TAXES, LET THEM LEAVE! Absolutely no sense of reality to any of those in the audience. If these legislatures have to deal with this mentality of voter on a regular basis it is no wonder Jackson County is screwed up!
