Columbia’s Willie’s pool hall is branching out to Missouri’s west coast. They are taking over the old tuxedo shop at 15th and Grand, just south of the loop in the Crossroads. Opening is rumored to be January 2006. It’s a great location just a block from the Sprint Center arena, and it should be a nice compliment to the big chain bars likely to open nearby in the Power & Light District. Tony, we’ll leave the jokes about frat boys and sausage fests to you

@BlogKC
wow. this is a big scoop? not. you need to check out the kcdev forums a little sooner.
this is old news.
Um, never claimed it was a scoop, so I’m not sure why you’re so hostile about it. We do read the kcskycrapers forums and have been following this one since day one, but waited until confirming the rumor was true before posting about it.
Hey, I didn’t know and I don’t have time to wade though all the construction cheering on KCDev. So I liked the post especially because it mentioned me!!!
Now, back to the lab to think up more jokes about how the suits downtown just love play with balls when they stop by Willie’s.
They should team up with Shakespeare’s Pizza and sell it there. It’s the best pizza I’ve ever had, but you can only get it in Columbia.
