St. Joe has had the club the Saint Joe Saints for a number of years. It seems that this team (the Blacksnakes) might be a step or two up minor league system (the Saints were a semi-pro team).
This is great news! We live in the Northland so St. Joe is closer than driving halfway to Lawrence for the T-Bones. Plus, with the Northland being the fastest growing part of the KC suburbs, this should give the new team and large and growing market in KC.
I haven’t been able to get excited about minor league baseball since enduring the horror of HALTER TOP NIGHT at a game in Charleston, SC.
